Dearest Batchmates,
Today, I am so happy to be with friends for a worthy cause. I had fun hiking and crossing the clear river.
And when we reached the planting site as Deanna said it was bivouac all over again. As we inserted each seedling into
the ground came drops of perspiration hopefully mixed with our unwanted body fat. So it was like a good day's
aero mixed with lifting weights. But even with the heat and sweat we still managed to smile for the cameras (check-out
the photos).
Overall I rate this project a major SUCCESS. Imagine in 2 months we were able to raise funds enough to
plant half a hectare. Hopefully by the end of the year we can have more. Ladies congratulations and see you in
our next planting schedule, let's bring our bathers and enjoy the river.

CONGRATULATIONS to Arlene, Rianna, Jenny, Malou, Rachel, Deanna, Beth, Lisa,
Tonette, Choot, Bambi and the rest of our galeng-galeng batchmates who initiated, supported, carried out this wonderful and
meaningful tree planting project! Looks like our La Mesa dam beauties had a great time - despite being under the sun for hours!
